Wordhoard specialises in supporting people who are working to produce excellent academic writing.
Whatever your subject area, you’ll need to maintain a critical, forthright, and confident tone throughout your work, but it can be tricky to strike the right note when you’re also trying to juggle the evidence and research that you’ve spent time gathering together.
With Wordhoard, you’ll be able to draw on support and expertise acquired through almost 20 years of teaching experience in Higher Education. Our mentors are highly experienced in providing support for writing skills whatever your specialist subject.
Wordhoard does not accept commissions that relate to undergraduate work, and we will only edit postgraduate work that is being prepared for assessment purposes under exceptional circumstances and with the full consent of your academic department. Generally speaking, we edit the work of tenured and early-career academics and our editing services are commissioned via their universities.
Siobhán is an exceptional professional with attention to detail and deep understanding of the importance of nuance and tone in writing. She has been instrumental in developing winning research funding applications and high quality published outputs, and can turn complex ideas into concise, well-written text without losing the essential meanings. My academic colleagues who work with Siobhan are consistently impressed with her intellectual engagement with the subject matter as well as her speed of turnaround and ability to meet tight deadlines.

All of our academic services are provided with careful attention to the ethical issues involved in helping people to produce original and authentic academic work. There are lots of places on the web where you’ll find people to write essays for you. This is not one of them.
Our aim is to help you articulate important research findings clearly and effectively. Some of the work we edit has the potential to produce significant change. When your articles are going to be circulated among specialist and non-specialist audiences, or used by aid agencies as they make plans about future funding, it is important that your arguments are easy to grasp and memorable.
We work with our authors to help them find their own style so that, over time, they become confident about writing for academic purposes without the need for our help.
